Fishing Islands Kayak Tour [9FIT]

This one day tour is designed for the first time kayaker to discover the sport of sea kayaking while only committing to a one-day outing. The morning is spent going over the basic skills of paddling technique, safety and packing as we set out for a shore lunch. In the afternoon we will paddle the crystal clear waters of the fishing islands off the west coast of the Bruce Peninsula. This group of islands is home to a fascinating variety of flora and fauna that changes each year with the rise and fall of the lake levels. You will be amazed at the shallow and warm waters found through this region and experience breathtaking scenery that unfolds in front of you.
