Tim, Janette and all of their staff would like to say that they are hopeful that you have all had a wonderful winter season and that you are now pleasantly thawed out, as springtime has now arrived and the warm summer months are coming upon us swiftly. Now that the snow and ice has completely receded from the lakes and rivers, and the temperatures are beginning to warm up. Your thoughts and dreams of paddling, fishing, hiking, climbing, biking and other seasonal adventures amongst spring flowers and the inviting blue skies can now become a reality. In light of these profound seasonal changes, we graciously anticipate assisting you in all of your outdoor adventure needs from rentals and guided trips to repairs and a vast range of goods for sale to get you out and about in our beautiful wilderness.
Now that our rivers and lakes are open once again, and have been for sometime now, we have already began to shuttle you safely and efficiently to your paddling destinations along the mighty Saugeen and the Bruce Peninsula (see www.thorncrestoutfitters.com for more information on shuttle locations and times or contact us at one of our four locations). For the second year in a row, we will be offering you the same excellent service that you have grown to expect from us in our Hanover and Southampton locations and our new Tobermory location, that can be found on top of the awe inspiring Bruce Peninsula where we are now better to meet all of your rental and retail needs for your outdoor adventures in the area and abroad.
We are also proud to announce that we have broadened our retail line by introducing to you the Aqua Fusion line of Recreational Kayaks. The Aqua Fusion Breeze, Liberty 13 and the Quest 15 will get seasoned and beginner paddlers out on river, lake or cottage shore easily, confidently and in style. On June 15th, we invite to come to our annual river clean up in Southampton when we offer our thanks to Mother Earth for giving herself to us for our pleasure, happiness and life, by cleaning up the river banks of the Saugeen River so that many more generations will be able to enjoy her profound beauty.
